Bless Field—a youth-sized all-season pitch for the kids of Portland’s New Columbia neighborhood—has been our biggest project yet. We envision Bless Field as a place where a future star learns the game and goes on to score a winning goal for the Timbers or Thorns in front of the best supporters in the world.
Bless Field is now open to the public.
Bless Field is becoming a reality thanks to:
Portland Timbers Football Club
Providence Health & Services
Portland Development Commission
Oregon Premier League
The Duane Graf Family
And all the other many generous donors like you!
Bless Field is part the New Columbia community, home to nearly 1,200 kids from 22 countries speaking more than 11 different languages. We see Bless Field as a place where all of these kids can share the common language that is the beautiful game. Bless Field is designed to support after-school programming through nearby Rosa Parks Elementary School and the Regence Boys & Girls Club.
Even though this project is funded, there are still ways you can help.
